A Great Week Is Ahead for Sentimental Journey 2026!

Now into our 40th year, SJ2026 will be bigger and better, and the most family-friendly Fly-in ever. Dozens of fun events are planned. Plus, for the first time, our forums will be housed in a handsome, weather-proof tent, sponsored by Univair aircraft parts.

Don't forget to buy your tickets for the Annual Awards Dinner on Friday night (6/12) at 6pm, in the Aztec Room on the 3rd Floor of the Piper Museum. It's a special buffet dinner sponsored by Acrisure Aviation Insurance. The dinner offers superb food by a local caterer, wine and beer, great desserts, and live music. This Pre-registration process is the best way to tell the SJ2026 that you're coming and to advise them of what you will be needing. You do not pay any money to Pre-register; payment only is required when you arrive. That way if your plans change, you're not paying too much or paying for something you may not use. Pre-registration just helps us be a little better organized for your arrival!

Pilot Training Scholarship Program Opened for Applicants
High School Students Must Apply Before May 31st

The Sentimental Journey Association has opened its long-standing aviation scholarship program to new applicants for the 2026 flight training season. The scholarship, in the amount of $1,000, is open to any high school student residing in Pennsylvania aged 15 or older who is interested in a career in some aspect of aviation.

Qualified applicants should email Ms. Esther Gardner, the Executive Coordinator of Sentimental Journey, at sjfly-in@hotmail. com. The Scholarship Application Form is available on this website. More details about the history and the agreement with the winning applicant are available here. There is no fee to apply for the scholarship. Applications must be submitted before May 31, 2026 and the award will be announced at the S-J Awards Banquet Friday night at the Fly-in.
