About the Sentimental Journey Fly-In

Our Fly-In is a great event for pilots, families, kids, and anybody who loves aviation. Now in our 40th year, every pilot will find a welcoming home either on our turf runway or the long paved runway; your choice. Everybody and every plane is welcome, but we especially love taildraggers!

The Fly-in is like a county fair, just with airplanes instead of cows. There are flying contests, fly-outs to interesting private airports, educational forums, and live music every evening. There's a special "Kidz Zone" with face painting, bounce houses, and a magic show on Saturday. Friday and Saturday feature free Young Eagle flights for kids ages 8-17 inclusive. Friday also is Youth Aviation Career Day, with companies and schools coming to meet aviation-minded students. Launch model rockets or fly radio-controlled airplanes. Float down the river underground in the Penn Caves. Visit the Lycoming factory and see how airplane engines are made. There's so much to do and see!
